There are 120,000 rice breeds all over the world. Each breed can be easily developed and grown even in the desert climate like in Australia or Himalaya Mount, Frigid Zone. Rice is endurable to all kind of weather even on top of the hill where jungle fire is on or several flooded area on the plateau in Bangladesh.

          Thailand is rich in for planting area of over 4 million rai ( 1 rai = 1,600 square metres or 0.4 acre). Each year can produce 22 million tons of paddy. After this paddy is produced to approximately 10-12 million tons of rice, 5-6 million tons of rice is domestic consumption. 

          Nonglutinous rice was originated from benefit gulf of India and was distributed into Asia about two thousand years ago and was named "Khaow Chaow" (God Rice).

          Jasmine Rice is Thai-Breeding rice and is originally grown here. Currently, it's referred as the most delicious rice in world. Thailand is achievable to export Khaow Hom Mali over 5 million annually. 

          Presently, China is the biggest market of Jasmine Rice because of its flavour and smell which are favorited the most of Chinese people. However, it doesn't mean that Jasmine Rice is the most popular rice in the world. Jasmine Rice has been discovered for 50 years in Cholburi Province, its characteristic looks like white Jusmine and it smell like Teoy Leave. Nowsaday, rice is produced approximately 530 million tons throuhout the world while wheat is produced approximately fo 560 million tons.
